Our beloved, Margaret Marie Barnett, 86 departed from this earthly life on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Portside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Portsmouth, VA.

Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 12:00 noon at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC where Pastor J. Andre Turner is Pastor and Apostle Larry Herring, Officiating. Interment will follow in Dove's Landing Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters, Elsie Phillips and Ida Louise Barnett of Elizabeth City, NC and Helen Gregory (Thomas) of Camden, NC; two sisters-in-law, Edith Barnett of Elizabeth City, NC and Wilma Jean Barnett of Hertford, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
