Our beloved, Leronies M. Winslow, departed from this earthly life as the sunset came on January 8, 2021.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations with Vice Bishop Phillip Riddick officiating and Dr. Joseph Walton delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Winslow Family Cemetery, Belvidere, NC.
She is survived by three nieces: Denise Brown of Chesapeake, Va; Jacqueline Brown Riddick (Vice-Bishop Phillip Riddick, Sr.) of Chesapeake, Va; and JoAnn Brown-Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC. One special niece, Stephanie Riddick of Eure, NC whom she called Sister: four great-nephews Terrance, Phillip, Stephen Michael (Kristen), Michael (Zykia), 10 great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
We are following and adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines. Due to this, the services will be limited to the immediate family and all other requested guest. Mask are requested out of the respect of everyone’s safety. The services will also be streamed live from our social media page and the link will be posted below on Friday. Thank you so much.
