Our beloved, Deacon Joshua Dawson, Jr., 76 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from the cares of this world on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his residence.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC with Rev. Glenn T. Rountree, Officiating and Rev. Everett D. Dawson, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at New Ramoth Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.
