Johnnie Leroy Holley

It is with sorrow that the Holley and all connected families come to promulgate to all, on the earthly transition of their beloved, Johnnie Leroy Holley. He transitioned from this life on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Brian Center of Hertford at the tender age of 71. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel with Rev. John R. Shannon, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. He will lie in state from 12:00 noon until time of service. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: five children, Roy Holley (Margie), Roderick Holley,  Chanda Holley-Whitehurst (Tony) all of Elizabeth City, NC, Kinetta Coleman (Robert) of Fayetteville, NC and Panthea Holley of Ayden, NC; siblings, Rufus Holley (Vickie) of Durham, NC, John Thomas Holley and Daisy Gilbert of Elizabeth City, NC and Sarah Flood of Ahoskie, NC; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
