Our beloved, Doris Celestine Etheridge, 57 of Elizabeth City, NC departed from this earthly life on Thursday July, 30 2020 at her residence in Elizabeth City, NC.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The services will be streamed live. COVID-19 restrictions are still in place.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one daughter, Dominique Etheridge-Johnson (Feronte) of Elizabeth City, NC; one granddaughter, Zohnique; mother and father, Mary and Willie White of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Alfreda Smith, Natasha Johnson and Ciera Johnson all of Elizabeth City, NC; three brothers, Gene Griffin of Atlanta, GA, William Griffin of Elizabeth City, NC and Calvin Harris of Englehard, NC; two aunts, Charlotte Spence (Calvin) and Bernice Lamb of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
