Our beloved, Clarence L. Holley, Sr., 95 of Hertford, NC, departed from this earthly life on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Life Celebration Service will take place on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Poole's Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hertford, NC with Pastor Linwood Turner, Officiating and Apostle William K. Moore, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Clarence was preceded in death b his wife, Lenora Holley; daughter, Doris Slade; sons, Clarence Jr. and Eric Lee Holley; his two brothers, Edward and William Holley; along with his sisters, Mattie Banks, Alice Combs, Annebell Pettaway, Creese Seymore and Lucinda Seymore.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter Sallie Brooks (Dean) of Elizabeth City, NC, son Clement Holley (Sandy) of Hertford, NC and daughter-in-law Maude Holley of Elizabeth City,NC. Clarence will also leave a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
