Clara Mae (Beals) Lee

With a humbled submission to the will of God, we stand with this loving and precious Lee Family to announce the earthly transition of our dear, Mother Clara Mae Beales Lee. Mother Lee age 92, exchanged time for eternity peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Sentara Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Barco, NC. 

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the New Sawyers Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Camden, NC with Pastor Oscar Butts, officiating and Pastor Roger Green, delivering the eulogy. Her earthly bed of rest will be in the church's Garden of Remembrance.

Moments of Viewing and Meditation with Mother Lee and the family will convene on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A wake service will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. They will also greet friends and loved ones at the home of the deceased, 100 Rivers Edge Apt. 102, Elizabeth City, NC. (Rivers Edge Apartment Complex)

Mother Clara Lee leaves to cherish a legacy of love for: her loving children, Rev. Marian L. Harris (Herbert) of South Mills, NC, Col. Ret. William C. Lee (Donna) of Lancaster, Tx, Wanda J. Daniels (Percy) of Camden, NC, Flora C. Walston (Shelton) of Elizabeth City, NC and Michael O. Lee (Neva) of Camden, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the Lee and connected families with love, care and uncompromising dignity by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations. 

We are grateful for the psalmist that declared these words so profoundly as we find them to be so true; 

"Joys are flowing like a river,
Since the Comforter has come;
He abides with us forever,
Makes the trusting heart His home.
 

Blessed quietness, holy quietness,
