Our beloved, Benjamin Franklin Harney, Sr., age 87 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC, with Pastor Frederick Godfrey, Officiating and Pastor Ernest Cole, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased, 1306 Herrington Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
