The beautiful life and caring spirit of Annie Hedgebeth has left a void in her husband, children and remaining family members hearts, as she made a peaceful transition, to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
Her celebration of life will convene on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC with the Rev. Jerry Zachary, officiating. She will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Her life will then be celebrated on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 716 Leonard Avenue, High Point, NC with the Rev. Fredrick O. Bass, Jr., officiating. She will lie in sate from 12:00 noon until time of service. Her earthly remains will then rest in the Carolina Biblical Gardens Cemetery, High Point, NC.
Annie leaves behind a legacy of love for: husband, Dr. James Hedgebeth, of the home;one son, Darius McKinley Hedgebeth of Bowie, MD; two daughters, Kendra Hedgebeth of Laurel, MD and Tamara Hedgebeth of Durham, NC; ; one granddaughter, Mattie Valentine Hedgebeth (daughter of Darius); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided with love, care and uncompromising dignity to the Hedgebeth and connected families, by the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations, Elizabeth City.
