Steve Allen Walston, Sr.

 In profound sorrow, the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations family join with the Walston family to announce that Mr. Steve Allen Walston, Sr., age 60 of 129 Beech Ridge Road, Camden, NC has completed his earthly journey on Saturday, December 8, 2018. 

His Life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel, Elizabeth City, NC with Pastor Bobbie Rascoe, officiating and Pastor Ralph Shaw, delivering the words of comfort. Viewing of his earthly remains will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. 

Steve leaves to cherish his memories: six children; Patrick Mahoney of South Floral Park, NY, Steven Allen Walston, Jr. and Kila J. Walston of Fayetteville, NC, Sierra Walston of Washington, D.C. and Sherese Walston of Anniston, AL; step-daughter, Tasia Jackson of Washington, D.C.; siblings, Flora Gilliam (Ronald) of Bridge Hampton, NY; Linda Salley (Bennie) of Brooklyn, NY, Berdie Lamb (Earl) of Elizabeth City, NC, Deborah Walston of Brooklyn, NY, Iola Walston of Camden, NC, Paulette Walston (John) and Gwendolyn Griffin (Tony) of Chesapeake, VA, Miles Walston, Jr., (Denise) of Parkton, NC, Kelvin Walston of Camden, NC and Keith Walston (Conesh) of Farmville, NC; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
