Lemuel Clayton Walker, Jr.

The curtains of life closed gently as Lemuel C. Walker, Jr., affectionally known as "Bo", departed from this earthly life on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at The Citadel of Elizabeth City.  

Life Celebration Services will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Open Door Christian Fellowship Church, South Mills, NC with Rev. Robert Aydlett, officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing and Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family is receiving friends at the home of the deceased, 138 Nosay Road, South Mills, NC.

*There will be no viewing during the funeral services.*

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife of 14 years, Mary B. Walker of the home; his children, Armesha Turner (Isaac) of Raleigh, NC, Lemyale Walker of Hampton, VA, Derrick Hall of Elizabeth City, NC, Steve White of Maryland, Lemeyon Walker of Elizabeth City, NC. Taureau Christian of Camden, NC, Steven Christian (Joyce) of Raleigh, NC and Rondell Christian (Shanae) of Elizabeth City, NC; his fur baby Max; siblings, Terry Walker (Arlene), Cleveland Walker and Earline Walker all of Elizabeth City, NC; twelve grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
