Laura Marie Walker Davis,age 67 of 632 Methodist Church Road, Elizabeth City, NC, transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation, Elizabeth City with her family by her bedside.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Laura will convene in the sanctuary of the Poole's Grove Missionary Baptist Church, at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April, 14, 2018 with the Rev. Linwood Turner, Pastor, Rev. Alvin J. Boone, Sr., officiating and Rev. Samuel K. Shaw, III, delivering the eulogy. Viewing and Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.
Laura leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Sherri Spellman (Darnell) of Elizabeth City, NC and Patricia Ferebee (Ronnie) of Hertford, NC; one brother, Roosevelt Walker of Elizabeth City, NC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one aunt, Jessie Mae Walton of Elizabeth City, NC; one uncle, Thomas Whidbee of Norfolk, VA.
