Our beloved, Ernest Wade Hassell, Sr., age 59 of 128 Nancy Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at his residence surrounded by, loving family and friends.

His life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. He will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.
