Our beloved, David Lee Higgins, of 119 Zack Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, after 80 long BLESSED and WONDERFUL years on this side, made his transition to that promised home beyond the skies, on the morning of Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his residence. Although this most precious and dear Higgins family will miss him on this physical side, there is no doubt in our mind, if Mr. Higgins was ready to walk with the King.

Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations with Rev. Dr. Ricky L. Banks, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Landsdowne, Md.

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided with dignity and comfort to the Higgins and connected families by the Final Care Professionals at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
