Curtis Lee Walton

Our beloved, Curtis Lee Walton, age 92 of 297 Bay Branch Road, Belvidere, NC, departed from this earthly life to his Heavenly home on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. 

His life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Belvidere, NC with Rev. Millie B. Jordan, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. 

"Where there is hate, love now abides, 
where there was confusion, peace now reigns. 
I'm a child, child of the King, 
it's all because I am redeemed."

He leaves behind a legacy of love for: six daughters, Beverly Walton Garnes of Dinwiddie, Va, Linda Walton Simpson of Forestville, Md, Dollie Walton Manley (Ronald) of Hillside, NJ, Cheryl Walton Jones (James) of Forestville, Md, Brenda Walton and Wendy Walton, both of Belvidere, NC; siblings, Charlie Frank Walton (Shirley) of Belvidere, NC, Fannie Jordan of Waterbury, Ct, John Walton of Belvidere, NC, Irvin Walton and Katherine Walton, both of Waterbury, Ct; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

"I'll tell of His favor, I'll tell of His love, 
I'll tell of His goodness to me. 
He purchased my redemption with His own precious blood, 
and from sin I've been set free."
