My condolences to Wendy's family. I had the honor to serve with Wendy at Ft Story, VA. We also deployed together to Afghanistan and Iraq. She was a great leader and mentor. She always ensured that all her troops where well taking care of, like a mother taking care of her children. So very sorry to hear of her passing.

I am an international representative of the International Brotherhoid of Police and Correctional Officers. To the Shannon family. Words do not come easily when it a friend from your childhood all the way to the present day.
