Marshall Burrus, Sr.

Mr. Marshall Burrus, Sr., 89 of 113 Lowry Street, Elizabeth City, NC, of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church where he will lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. 

He leaves behind a legacy: two daughters, Marie Burrus and Linda Burrus of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Timothy Burrus and Marshall Burrus, Jr., (Renita) of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Sandra Gaylord of Virginia Beach, VA, Agnes Cooper of Norfolk, VA and Edna Riddick of Tampa, Fl; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
