Our beloved, Willie Gilliam, of Edenton, NC departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
Life Celebration Service will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, NC. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Willie leaves to cherish His mother Evelyn Gilliam (NC), companion Danielle Middleton (NY); Eight children Jermaine Faison (NY), Shameka Middleton (NY), Brian Gilliam (NJ), Randell Buchanan (NJ), Willie Buchanan (NJ), Katrina Gilliam (NJ), Alexis Gilliam (NJ), and Nia Gilliam (NY), twelve grandchildren Monaejah Middleton (NY), Latyce Faison (NY), Quayonna Middleton (NY), Za’myre Middleton (NY), Randell Buchanan Jr (NY) Tra’Dell Faison (NY), Keyshawn Buchanan (NJ), Arianna Francis (NJ), Ava Gilliam (NJ), Za’nari Thompson (NJ), Jahzmere Thompson (NJ) Ahmere Glaster (NJ) and One great grandchild Si’yre Devaghn (NY). Five siblings Bobby Gilliam, Barbara White, Antonio Gilliam, Gerald Tripp, and Denisha Tripp all of NC, two uncles Edward Earl Leary, and John Henry Leary both of NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
