Obituary
Our beloved, Tony Martin Robertson, I, age 55 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this life on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel with Rev. Davin Phillips, Officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Tony was born in Chowan, NC on March 29, 1968 to Pamela McDonald McLawhorn and Millard Fernando Robertson. He spent many years as a painter in Construction. He was preceded in death by his father Millard Fernando Robertson and a brother Clay Robertson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Ariel Johnson and Tony Robertson, II; parents, Spring McLawhorn and Joe McLawhorn; four grandchildren, Blair Sage Johnson, Korra-lee Faith Johnson, Zaylan Rain Johnson and Sara Aubree Denton; four siblings, Cassie Cartwright, Jason Robertson, Michael Robertson and Crystal Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
