Elizabeth City, NC - Tansy Evans Thomas, 60 of Elizabeth City, NC departed from this earthly life on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City, NC.

Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations, Elizabeth City, NC.

Tansy leaves to cherish her memories husband Anton Thomas, daughter, Sharetha Foskey (Eric) or Elizabeth City, NC; son, Avery Thomas of Elizabeth City, NC; Tansy is also survived by two sisters Ernestine Evans Simpson of Hertford, NC., Saleria Evans Countiss (Dwain) of Clinton, MD, brother Alvin Barcliff Evans of Rocky Mount, NC. Eleven (11) grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tansy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & Alverta Evans, and her daughter Adrienne Lynn Thomas.
