Susie (McPherson) Trimmer

Our beloved, Susie McPherson Trimmer, age 82, of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Thursday, January 29, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Wayne Trimmer; one granddaughter, Becky Jordan; and one grandson, Dallas Bunch Jr.

She is survived by her children: Danny Trimmer, Connie Trueblood (Rod), Marvin Trimmer, Penny Newbern (Jamie), Tammy Trimmer (Tony), Jennifer Prince (Chris), and Ashley Penton (Terry). She was a proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

She was a faithful member of Olivet Lakes Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she found great comfort, fellowship, and strength in her faith.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hospice nurses, Stacy and Carol, for their compassion, dedication, and going above and beyond in her care during this time. Another special thank you to her son-in-law Chris, for being a wonderful caretaker for our mother.
