Sadie B. Gallop

Our beloved, Sadie Baxter Gallop, 97 departed from this life on March 31, 2021.

Life Celebration Service will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Powell’s Point, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. 

 Sadie is remembered as a loving and revered woman, who lived an unprecedented number of years and shared wisdom to all who were within an earshot. Her family, mixed of both living and transitioned, include a beloved sister, Dolly Johnson (James); children Reuben Gallop Jr and Arthur Gallop; grandchildren Lisa Gallop, Ariane Webb (Kevin), Wanda Gallop, Darrin Gallop, Chris Hall, and Jade Scism; great grandchildren Skyler Taylor, Luke Webb, Levi Webb, Laurin Webb, Lindsey Webb, Shaun Webb, Elijah Phillips, Paelyn Phillips, Phoenix Phillips, Pasleigh Phillips, Payce Phillips, and Troi Hall; great-great grandson Miles R. Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews, including special nieces Gwen Newton and Dorothy Johnson, both of whom dedicated their time and hearts to taking special care of Sadie throughout her later years.
