Remembering Mable Emmerline Simpson McLane

Our beloved, Mable Emmerline Simpson McLane 84 of Powells Point, NC departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Currituck Health and Rehabilitation Center, Barco, NC. 

Life Celebration Services will take place beginning with a Walk-through Viewing on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Powells Point, NC starting at 10:00 a.m. The service will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James McCoy, Officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

Emmaline leaves to celebrate her memory one brother, Jessie Simpson of Powell’s Point; three sisters, Sarah Louise Ferebee of Powell’s Point, NC; Ella Jane Bray (Ronald) of New York, and Annie Ruth Chatman (Thomas) of Moyock, NC. Although she did not have any children by birth, she had two godsons, Thomas Eugene Chatman, Jr. of Moyock, NC, and Ronald (Ring Ding) Bray, Jr. of New York, and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
