Obituary
Our beloved, Leeora White Brown, affectionally known as "Sister", departed from this earthly life on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Missionary Church, Hertford, NC with Pastor Shomari Bullard, Officiating, and Bishop McKinley Gilliam, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Hertford, NC. A viewing will take place on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church.
The memory of Leeora White Brown will forever live on through her siblings Oscar White (Katie) of Hertford NC, Mary Emma White of Elizabeth City, NC, Minister Connie White of Elizabeth City, NC, and Issac Stanley White, Sr., (Rev. Vernell) of Elizabeth City, NC. Leeora had no children of the home, but she loved James Edward Carter, Jr. of Hertford, NC, and Jessica Rodgers (Eric) of Merry Hill, NC as her own. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and associates.
