Our beloved, Jimmy Lee Cobb departed from this earthly life on his 59th birthday, March 1, 2021 at the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel with Bishop David L. White, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Sawyer Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Jimbo leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Angela Anita Cobb of the home; one daughter, Bassemah Basket of New Jersey; Step -son, Raushawn Brown, Elizabeth City, NC, three sisters, Lucille Davis, Linda Cobb, Mae Alice Roberson(George), all of Folkston, Georgia; Brothers; Lee Andrew Jones, Folkston, Ga., and Eddie Cobb (B. Sincere) of New Jersey, Sister-in law, Linda Faye Gregory (Henry),Elizabeth City, NC, brother-in-law, Sam Brown (Victoria), Durham, NC and a very special niece, Shakia Gregory ; Elizabeth City, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, friends, neighbors and employers.
