Our beloved, Jesse Carl Brown, Sr., departed this life on May 1, 2021.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Dove's Landing Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Jesse is survived by his daughters: Latessa and Margaret of Utica, NY, Angela Jesmera (Shawn)Waters of New Jersey; his sons: Lavar (Nakeisha) and Jesse Jr.; his grandchildren: Giovanni, Raekwon, Jikwon, Messiah, Micheal, Jamie Demi, Navasia, Navariya, Lavar Jr., KeShaun, Braudlen, Jes’monte, Sahvionna, Cynia, Jesse Jezzair, Jes’Sean, Kaiden, Kayson and Kimora. He also leaves his siblings to cherish his memory: sisters, Linda (Darnell) Felton, Sylvia (Andrew) Wonnum, Maryland (Jerome) Saunders, and Dolores (Jerry) Prichette, and brother: Frankie Brown. Jesse also leaves his Aunts: Thelma Griffin, Ruby Davis, Betty Newsome, and Tommie Lewis all of Florida; an Uncle, Willie Fields also of Florida and a host of loving cousins and friends from Delaware, New York and North Carolina. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Ulysses, and sister Priscilla Ann and a special friend Sheresse Riddick.
