James Edward Holshue, Jr.

James Edward Holshue, Jr., 93, born in Camden, NJ, to the late James E. and Mabel A. Holshue, passed away on October 22, 2022.

Jim lost the love of his life, his wife Lil, married for 64 years in 2013. He also lost his beloved son Bruce in 2012 and beloved son-in-law, Tom Riffe.

Jim joined the Navy in 1946. He was stationed at Little Creek Amphibious Base in Virginia. His life's work was in the corrugated box industry. He was a wonderful husband and father. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in South Mills, NC, for many years. 

He is survived by his loving children, Sherri A. Hacker and husband Al of South Mills, NC, James E. Holshue, III and wife Mary of Duanesburg, NY and Kathy L. Riffe of Portsmouth, VA; adoring grandchildren, Al (Heather) Hacker, Jr., Lisa Hacker, Ashley (Matt) Hipps, Lauren (Wayne) Paulette, Jimmy Riffe and Courtney Leonard. He has five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
