James Earl Alexander Griffin

Our beloved, Earl Griffin, age 81 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Life Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12 noon in Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

He leaves behind to continue sweet memories, legacy and footprints, Hun will always be remembered by his loving wife, Deloris. Two sons: Stacey (Angelia) Griffin of Wilmington, NC, Yeman Griffin (special friend Sakinah) of Elizabeth City, NC; three Daughters: Melody Griffin, Virginia Williams, Marlisa (Arderrick) Wiggins all of Elizabeth City, NC. One brother: George Griffin, 21 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great great grandchild; brother in laws: Harrell (Risha) Griffin, Nathaniel (Gloria) Griffin and Elder Kelvin Griffin, nine sisters-in-law: Betty Griffin, Roxie Sheppard, Minister Celestine (Johnnie) Riddick, Corrine White, Melvona Griffin, Pauline (Saloman)Brothers, Valeria (Dentrial) Jennette, Deneen (Timothy) Jackson, and Patricia (Alvin)James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
