Izell "Zeke" Jackson

We bow in humbled submission to the will of God to promulgate to all on the earthly transition of Mr. Izell "Zeke" Jackson. "Zeke" departed from this earthly life on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA. 

Life Celebration Services will take place for "Zeke" on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. Viewing and Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife, Viola Jackson of the home; children, Tina Jackson-Hardison (Demetrius), Monzell Jackson (Abby), Lavone "Smiley" Williams, Donyell Sampson (Reggie), Derrick Wilson (Bezawet) and Dwan Stringfield (Ebony); siblings, John Lee (Mary), Diane Powell-Mitchell (Robert), Earl "Dooby Jack" Jackson, Lamar Jackson and William James (Willamina); one uncle, Cecil James; a special friend, Tony Lewis of Moore's Taxi; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
