Our beloved Gloria Elizabeth Williams, departed from this earthly life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her residence.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Jarvisburg, NC with Rev. Reginald Saunders, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery, Barco, NC. She will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband, Billy A. Williams of the home; children, Shelia Hopson, Gail Hayes (Dudley) and Mary Carter all of East Hampton, NY, Raymond Gilliam (Lacretia) of Tavares, FL, Anthony Gilliam (Linda) of Flanders, NY, Thomas Gilliam (Dale) of Patchogue, NY, Billy C. Williams of Kinston, NC and Terry A. Williams (Sheila) of Bridgeport, CT; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois Petty of Inglewood, CA, Amos Wyche, Jr., (Wendy) of Saratoga, NY and Joanne Brown (Kenneth) of Flanders, NY; one aunt, Lena Clark of Franklin, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
