Faye (Banks) Lowry

On Thursday, November 23, 2023, our beloved Faye Banks Lowry passed away peacefully with her husband at her bedside. 

Life Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel, with Pastor William T. Davis Officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: husband of 46 years, James A. Lowry of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Janet Banks-Goodman (Nathaniel) of Hertford, NC, Lisa Muhammad (Eric) of Newport News, VA, and Blanche Banks of Jersey City, NJ; three brothers, Fleetwood Banks of Barco, NC, Victor Banks of Columbia, NC, and Wilbert Banks of Philadelphia, PA; one aunt, Margaret Griffin of Newark, NJ; one sister-in-law, Patricia Lowry of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother-in-law, George Lowry (Deborah) of Richmond, VA; one aunt-in-law, Mildred Wilson of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
