Our beloved, Evangelist Lucinda B. Harney, 88 of Elizabeth City, NC exchanged time for eternity on Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence.
Life Celebration Service will take place on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC with Pastor Frederick Godfrey officiating and her grandson, Pastor Isaac Lister, Jr., delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow the triumphant celebration of life in the Lincoln Memorial Park, Portsmouth, VA. A viewing will take place on Monday, May 3, 2021 at New Birth Fellowship Church, Elizabeth City, NC from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Memories of Mrs. Harney will continue to be cherished by siblings Deloris Jenkins (Howard) of Portsmouth, VA, and Dr. Russell Busch (Jean) of Richmond, VA, children Michael Harney (Pat) of Clearwater, Fla, Brenda Patterson (Stanley) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Kelvin Harney (Laura) of Fayetteville, NC, grandchildren Isaac, Renee, Adrian, Rakea, Briana, Tanna, and Ian, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, and “children in Love.” She will be greatly missed.
