Our beloved, Esther Olivia Hogan Harris, 87, of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on June 9, 2022.
Life Celebration Service will take place on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 12:00 noon at Harbor of Hope Seventh Day Adventist Church, Elizabeth City, NC.She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
Queen Esther was a true friend to many and will be remembered and missed by numerous people in her community. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children: Clarice Roslyn Harris Williams, Kenneth Keith Harris(wife Karen Harris) and Doris Jean Harris Johnson (husband, ShemroyJohnson) , 13 grandchildren, Melisa Olivia Harris Ortiz (Larry Ortiz), Terrence Bradley Harris, Krystle Alexis Johnson Mchugh(husband, Joshua Mchugh) Lawrence Vincent Williams (wife,Christine Williams) Linea Zareena Johnson Griswell (husband Ronald Griswell), Andrew Keith Harris (wife Bre’anna Harris), Brian Matthew Harris(wife, Bianca Harris), Jordan Tyler Harris, Imani Zareena Johnson, Jelani Shem Johnson, Amina Alexis Johnson, Denzel Roy Johnson, Rex Joseph Johnson 2 great grandchildren, Greyson Hunter Ortiz, and Michael KembrellHarris. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous dear friends.
