Ernest Linwood Capehart

Mr. Ernest L. Capehart, 92 of Merry Hill, NC, departed from this life on Thursday, October 27, 2022. 

Life Celebration Service will take place on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Ashland Missionary Baptist Church, Merry Hill, NC with Pastor Willie J. Best, Jr., Officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will take place at the church on Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Mae Capehart, a daughter, Marion Delores Capehart and son, Earnest Dwight Capehart. He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Marietta Armstrong (WC) of Elizabeth City, NC and Calvin D. Capehart, Sr., (Inez) of Edenton, NC; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet Morris (Clarence Earl) of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
