Our beloved, Dorothy Lucille Turner departed from this earthly life on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her residence.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel with Presiding Elder Fondella Leigh, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Dove's Landing Cemetery (Formerly New Oak Grove Cemetery), Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: three sisters, Mamie T. Parker (David), Gloria Turner and Angela Turner all of Hertford, NC; one aunt, Dorothy B. Newby (Rev. G. Curtis) of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
