Doretha (Hughes) Harrell

Our beloved, Doretha Hughes Harrell, 62 of Camden, NC, departed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC, with Pastor Antonio Williams, Officiating and Pastor Samuel K. Shaw, III, delivering the words of comfort. Interment will follow the service in New Providence Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Shawboro, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. She will also lie in state on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased, 130 NC Hwy 34 N, Camden, NC, 27921, daily from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
