Our beloved, Delois Ann Smith Johnson, 62 of Durham, NC, departed from this earthly life on Friday, June 3, 2022, at her residence.
Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at New Covenant United Holy Church, 2811 Dearborn Drive, Durham, NC, 27704. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in Beechwood Cemetery, Durham, NC. Masks are still asked to be worn for safety.
To continue the Howard Family legacy of wisdom, love, perseverance, spiritual enlightenment, strength, faith and financial prosperity, on the 2nd day of June, in the year 2022, Delois commissioned her daughter, Michele Smith; one son, Jason Smith (Kelly); her brother Randy Smith; four sisters, Juliette “Faye” Wilson, Joyce Mason, Paulette “Micki” Smith and Davina Cook; two granddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
