Darin Donnell Brooks

Our beloved, Darin Donnell Brooks, 57 of Elizabeth City, NC departed from this earthly life on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Affectionately known as "Duke", Darin was born to Marian Butts Brooks and Lewis Brooks on April 19, 1963. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at the Butts Family Cemetery, Camden, NC with military rites being held in honor of his military service with the United States Army. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Marian B. Brooks, his father, Lewis Brooks (Veronica); his son, Darian "Little Duke" Royle of Greensboro, NC; one grandson, Josiah Royle; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a loving sister, Karen Brooks, who gently transitioned from this life 3 days prior to his passing.
