Cherry Oreathia (Harris) Thompson

Our beloved, Cherry Oreathia Harris Thompson, 81, of South Mills, NC, fought a good fight and finished her course on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Life Celebration Services will take place on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Open Door Christian Fellowship Church, South Mills, NC, with Rev. Michael Foreman, Officiating and her beloved husband, Rev. Joseph E. Thompson, Sr., delivering the words of comfort. Interment will follow on Monday, August 14, 2023, at West Lawn Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Open Door Christian Fellowship Church, South Mills, NC.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, at Open Door Christian Fellowship Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a wake service beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Please note, there will not be a viewing on Friday, the family will only be receiving friends.

Harris, New York, NY, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great grandchildren and a very large host of relatives and friends.
