Bridget Lister Obituary

Our beloved, Bridget Michelle Gallop Lister, 55 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Monday, September 19, 2022, at her residence. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Shiloh, NC, Rev. W. T. Davis, Pastor. The Rev. Dr. William M. Sawyer will serve as the officiant and her brother, Deacon Louis Gallop will deliver the eulogy.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband Timothy Lee Lister, of the home; three sons, Timothy J. Lister, Kendale Lister (Kwanza) and Brandon Lister all of Elizabeth City, NC; mother, Annie Whaff of Norfolk, VA; father, John Henry Brickhouse (Ann) of Virginia Beach, VA; siblings, Louis Gallop (Arlethia) of Garner, NC, Ruby Felton of Chesapeake, VA, Melvin Gallop of Norfolk, VA; Keith E. Speight of Allentown, PA, Cheryl M. Dixon (Fabian) of South Mills, NC, Beverly E. West and Tina L West, both of Virginia Beach, VA, Kevin C. West, Elisha A. West and Terrence T. Meitzler, all of Allentown, PA, Latoria Gibson (Travis) of Grovetown, GA, LaTosha Gordon and Llago Gordon, Jr., both of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Dontasiah Jennings, Brielle Lister, Braelyn Lister, Lyric Lister, Ari Lister, and Ava Lister; and a host of other relatives and friends.
