Our beloved, Beulah Bernice Mitchell Lassiter, 66 of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA.
Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith and Victory Christian Center, Elizabeth City, NC, with Rev. Dr. Larry Brown, Officiating. Interment will follow in Dove's Landing Cemetery. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
She leaves behind her children, Kyshawn Brooks and Monona Copeland; her siblings, Arlanda Mitchell (Nellie), Timothy Mitchell, Johnnie Adams Coleman (Charles), Lula Mae Goodman, Novella Harris, William Alton Mitchell, Jr. (Sheila) and Monona Hall (Sherrod); her grandchildren, Taiesha Moore, Tyshae Sawyer, Dazhana Lassiter, Ashanti Brooks, Deadraina Woodley, Mikel Sawyer, Deandre Copeland, Kadeem Sawyer, Timothy White, Egypt Coston, Asia Coston and Patrick Leary, Jr.; aunts, Camilla Lowery and Rubenia Alexander; one uncle, Glenn Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren and friends.
