Our beloved extraordinary, argumentative, very strong in faith, lover of family and family oriented, Audrey Lee Thomas transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, May 11, 2020 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations Chapel with Pastor Kevin Lighty, officiating. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 the family ask if you have any cards or condolences, please mail or deliver them to the funeral home. For all celebratory events, please ensure you wear a facial covering and practice social distancing. The service will be streamed live on our website. 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her father, Mr. Willie Thomas; three brothers, Rev. Dr. Willie L. Thomas (Susie) and Rev. Dr. Robert W. Thomas (Belinda) both of Elizabeth City, NC and Rev. Dr. Curtis M. Thomas of Newport News, VA; three sisters, Patricia T. Spruill (Joseph) and Marlene T. Little (Herman) both of Elizabeth City, NC and Rev. Cloria T. Barnard of Chesapeake, VA; one aunt, Hilda Scott of Waterbury, CT; goddaughter, Mary Midgette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
