Aresina (Dance) Holley

We pause with the remaining loved ones of our beloved Aresina Dance Holley who exchanged time for eternity on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center at the age of 65. 

Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Winfall, NC with Pastor Alvin J. Boone, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A walk-through viewing will take place at the church on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. We will be adhering to all COVID-19 restrictions for both events held on the church campus.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories a son, Willie Harrell (Christy) of Greensboro, North Carolina, a loving brother, Charlie Junior Dance (Lucy) and a loving sister, Addie White (Johnnie) all of Hertford, North Carolina.  Five Grandchildren, Dameion Harrell, Braxton Harrell, Traishawn Alexander, Kenneth Moore, Xavier Moore.  Two Great grandchildren, Princess Arielle Alexander and Princess A’xayli Moore. Her loving and favorite niece, the daughter she never had, Shirley Bruce. Another adopted daughter, Daniel Leary and her Godchild, Zion Leary who even though she could be a handful at times, she loved her too.  An adopted daughter-in-law, Gloria Miller and another once daughter-in-law, Sherry Harrell.  A loving friend and special confident, Ann Patricia Moore, whose house she stayed at more than her own. Linda Spruill, who affectionately called her “Mama” whom she also considered just like a daughter to her whom she loved dearly as well. She also leaves to cherish her memories an infinite number of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
