Alvin Rodney Reid, Sr.

Our beloved, Alvin Rodney Reid, Sr., age 70, of Greenville, NC, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 16, 2024. 

Life Celebration Services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC, with Pastor Daniel Spence Officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. Moments of remembrance and reflection will commence at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife Geraldine H. Reid of Portsmouth, VA; four children, Delishia Moore (Algernon) of Elizabeth City, NC, Terrance Reid (Nanette) of Greenville, NC, Alvin Rodney Reid, Jr., of Greenville, NC and Courtney Renee' Reid of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Isaac Reid of Norfolk, VA, Tony Reid (Jackie) and Donald Reid (Felicia) both of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Denise Mitchell (Charlie), Sandra White and Janie Cofield (Bernard) all of Elizabeth City, NC; in-laws, Regina Wynn (Percy), Gloria McMillan (Herbert), Stewart Hines (Shirley), Cynthia Blackwell (Julius), Eudell Williams (Greg) and Angela Doyle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
