Our beloved, Alvin L. Howard, Sr., age 85 of Pottstown, PA and formerly of Elizabeth City, NC, departed from this earthly life on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Pottstown, PA.

Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Ervina White Beauford Funeral Home, Pottstown, PA. Services will be streamed live via ZOOM. He was the son of the late James Rudolph and Louvenia Spruill Howard. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Howard; children; siblings, Joyce Howard and Melvin Howard of PA and Annie Boyce (Charlie) of Elizabeth City; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Howard is also the great-uncle to Mr. Aubrey H.J. Mitchell.
