Sharon Denise Wiggins

Our beloved, Sharon Denise Wiggins, age 53 of 906 Second Street, Elizabeth City, NC, transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Sentara Heart Hospital, Norfolk, VA. 

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Winfall, NC with Rev. Dr. Vernell Felton-White, officiating. Her place of rest will be in the New Oak Grove Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Friday, with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love for: two sons, Lester White, Jr., (Lasandra) of Newport News, VA and Tyrrell White of Belvidere, NC; siblings, Elwood Wiggins, Jr., (Gloria) of Elizabeth City, NC, Sandra Brown of Elizabeth City, NC, Arnette Gibson of Elizabeth City, NC, Marian Whidbee (Melvin) of Greenville, NC, Armentha Wiggins (Diego) of Elizabeth City, NC, Raymond Wiggins of Windsor, NC, Johnny Wiggins of Elizabeth City, NC and Barbara Cathey (Thomas) of Spring Hope, NC; one grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services being provided to the Wiggins and connected families by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
