Our beloved, Sanford Martin Williams, age 68, of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence.

Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Holy Trinity Community Church, Elizabeth City, NC with Rev. Dr. Darius J. Horton, Officiating. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 until 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the home of Herbert and Rita Bowe, 224 Katie’s Trail, Elizabeth City, NC.

Sanford leaves to cherish his memories: loving mother, Virginia Overton Williams, of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Diane Gramby, Candy Green (Larry) and Rita Bowe (Herbert), all of Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, Randy Williams (Valerie) and Dwight Williams, of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being expressed to the Williams and connected families by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
