Rory Shawn White, Sr.

As we'll understand it better by and by, the loving and precious family of ​Rory Shawn White, Sr.  age 45 of Winston Salem, NC and formerly of Hertford, NC, announce his sudden passing as he left this world on Mother's Day, Sunday May 13, 2018. 

Service of Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Corner Stone Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City with Rev. George Munden, officiating. He will lie in state one hour​ prior​ to the service. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife, Amanda S. White, of the home; one son, Rory S. White, Jr,. of Winston Salem, NC; mother, Edie White (Richard) of Hertford, NC; two sisters, Remona Stokley (Bryant) of Elizabeth City, NC and Sharon Geiger of Winston Salem, NC; one brother, Thomas J. White (Tanya) of Hertford, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Elisha T. White and sister, Beverly White. 

Final Care and Compassionate Services are being provided to the White family with love, care and uncompromising diginity by the Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.
