Robert Eugene Jarvis, Jr.

Our beloved, Robert Eugene Jarvis, Jr., age 53 of Elizabeth City, NC, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Heritage Care of Elizabeth City surrounded by family and friends. 

Life Celebration Services will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at New Day Church, Elizabeth City, NC where Pastor Dale Forbes is pastor and Rev. Reggie Ponder will deliver the eulogy. He will lie in state from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. The family will also receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At other times, they will be at 500 River Retreat Way Apt 103, Elizabeth City, NC. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: two sons, James R. Jarvis and fiancé, Amber of Camden, NC and Cody A. Jarvis of Shawboro, NC; mother, Barbara Harrell of Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, Wade McLawhorn (Shannon) of Winfall, NC and Bryan Jarvis (Lisa) of Marshall, Tx; one step-sister, Paula Privett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
