Music by the O'Neill Brothers

Robert Hadden

April 3, 2018

"God is the joy and the strength of my life,
Removes all pain, misery and strife,
He promised to keep me, never to leave me,
He'll never, never fall short of His word.
I've got to fast and pray,
Stay in that narrow way,
I'll keep my life clean everyday,
I want to go with Him, when He comes back,
I've come too far and I'll never turn back.
God is, God is, God is, God is,
God is my all and all."

The Master directed his angels to descend towards the Sentara Hospice House of Virginia Beach, VA to receive the soul of our beloved, Robert Hadden of Portsmouth, VA, formerly of Jarvisburg, NC, into the loving kingdom. He will leave behind family and friends but we rejoice knowing that he is away from pain and misery on this side.

Robert's Life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Jarvisburg, NC with the Rev. Curtis Brinkley, officiating. Interment will follow in the Owens Family Cemetery, Grandy, NC. He will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, DawnMarie June Pinckney of the home; three sisters, Sheila Hadden Ely-Davis, Dorothy Wilson, Mary Wilson; two brothers, Rev. Dr. Calvin E.
